Help, fashionistas! How to wear a black midlength bell-shaped dress (no waist) with 3/4 bubble-ish sleeves?
Bell-shaped is... well, like a bell, think tower bell.
The length falls just a little above the knees, so if belted, it would land somewhere mid thigh.
Should I wear hosiery/legging? What kind of?
If I want to accentuate a waistline and add a belt, should it be on the waist or on the hip? And should it be a solid one (like leather) or flexible one (like chain belt with charms hanging from it, etc)?
What about shoes? Boots, like ankle booties, slide, or strappy sandals? (Btw, I prefer heels to flats) Would a pair of knee boots do?
For formal and casual, what kind of bags should I carry? Big, small, tote, clutch? Plain one or one with ribbons, etc?
And finally, how should I accessorize? Earrings, brooche, scarves, anything?

sorry, the dress has no waist, but I do have waist.
in fact, my waist is the only thing good about me... LOL (i have broad shoulder and wide hips)

definatley wear a belt! i think you should round the waist as oppose to hips
if you wear a belt on the hips, i might make your hips look bigger and wont do anything for your waist
i also dont have a waist and when i wear a belt on the waist, it makes me look like i have one lol
i know this isn't the dress your talking about but its knee length like yours and shows how the waist belt helps the waist

I think you should wear peep-toe heels (like in the picture) because it will make you look taller and look more elligant. if you dont want to wear heels, strappy sandals would look good too.
i think a clutch bag would look great (but not too big), have a nice little small one, they have nice ones in New Look if that helps.
A diamond necklace and diamond ear rings will look lovely, i usually think little is best so don't over do with the accessories. if you have two holes in your ears, wear studs in the first then small hoops in the second!
