How to i customise a pair of black cowboy boots?
I'd like to customise them to resemble the brightly colored boots worn by the country singers of the past. What sort of paint should i use and how do i polish them in the future?

What about the more intricate details? Can i use dye for them as well?
While you could use acrylic paint from the craft department at a very low price, it would crack and peel when the leather is flexed. The better way to do it yourself is to but leather dye, find it at a store like Tandy Leather (there are others, look in the Yellow Pages).
